Submit A Proposal For Review of an Investment

Any member of the Western Washington University community may submit a request for review of an equity investment. Requests will be reviewed by the Board of Trustees Executive Committee to ensure there is evidence of a broad and continuing base of support within the University community.

If the proposal meets the criteria, the Advisory Committee for Socially Responsible Investing (ACSRI) will be convened by the Board of Trustees Executive Committee. The ACSRI will evaluate the investment requested for review using the Board of Trustees Policy on Socially Responsible Investing and will make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees will then consider the recommendation of the ACSRI and determine a course of action.

Relationship to WWU

Requests must be accompanied by evidence of a broad and continuing base of support from within the University community for a review. Please attach evidence of such support, including at least two or more of the following:

  1. Endorsement from the Associated Students of Western Washington University
  2. Endorsement from the Faculty Senate; or
  3. Petitions signed by a broad coalition of students, faculty, alumni, or staff of the University.
