Ashlynn Tibbot

Governor Bob Ferguson appointed Ashlynn Tibbot to the Board of Trustees on July 25, 2025. She will serve as the Student Trustee with her term ending on June 30, 2026. 

Ashlynn Tibbot is from Milton, WA. She is a Senior pursuing a double major in Women, Gender and Sexuality, and English with a Creative Writing and Teaching Endorsement. She plans to Minor in Sociology. 

In addition to academics, Ashlynn works on campus as a Lead Student Ambassador and is a club officer for WWU’s Writers Block – Creative Writing Club. Earlier in 2025, she was a speaker for the Planned Parenthood: Bans Off Our Bodies Event.
